Whew!

Trip's back on! Got new airline tickets! 23 days and counting.....

Wah!!!

A little "gripe session" if you will. So if you don't want to hear it-STOP HERE:

I had a countdown at my desk- 39 days till Hawaii.....until today. Unfortunately our flight was booked through ATA airlines who just declared bankruptcy and cancelled all flights. I've started gathering info from any airline that services Hawaii and it looks like for a fee (think 100 per person per flight=$400) we could get another flight. But that's only if you wait for standby. (at least they don't make you pay until you get a flight) Southwest may be our only hope, but I have to wait until the 7th to call........ SO...... if anyone happens to work for an airline/travel agency/therapist let me know. I was SOOOOOOOOOO looking forward to our trip. At least we saved our receipts for the snorkel gear.

Gizmo...

Gizmo is our newest member of our family (he will be 1 on April 11-he shares his birthday with Dad Stout!) He's awesome! Daddy just got him a laser pointer and he LOVES IT! He chases it until he's out of breath (it's soooo funny to hear a cat wheeze!)

Gizmo's hobbies include, chasing Prissy, chasing Star, shedding and tearing up toilet paper!!

Prissy

Prissy is our "old lady" of the house. Curtis rescued her from his old job at the gravel plant in 1997-ish... She USED to be a tiny little thing, but when we started giving her real cat food(i.e. in a can) she grew...a lot! She spends her days sleeping on her cat tree daddy built for her, and she spends her evenings sleeping next to the floor heater in our room!

Thor

Thor is our male pit bull who is 6 years old. You've heard the term "Man's best friend"? Well Thor takes that to a whole new level! He follows Curtis around everywhere! When Curtis is in the garage working, Thor is right there. If Curtis is vegging on the couch, Thor is right there to snuggle with him. Some of Thor's hobbies (besides following daddy everywhere) are: Sleeping, playing with Star, swimming and eating "yum-yums"

Star

Star is our female pit bull. She's about 10 years old, but still full of spunk! Her hobbies include sunbathing, swimming, and chewing up ropies!
